CONGRATULATIONS to Bro Keith Porter ROH on his election as the Provincial Grand Primo for 2025
Brother Keith will be supporting the "Shropshire Kidney Patients Association" during his year of office. This will give much needed support to this voluntary organisation.
The association provides a caring support and information group for patients in the Shropshire area, that have to attend the local Renal Units for their life saving treatment.

The next charity function in the Province will be held at Broseley Social Club, High Street, Broseley, TF12 5EZ
Entry fee £3, which includes a raffle ticket on the night. All proceeds will go to the PGP's 2025 Appeal.

Pictured below is the OD Murphy Lodge WP Bro Les Evans KOM handing over a cheque for £300 to Mr Max Beddoes of the Shropshire Goju Ryu Karate Academy based in Broseley. The presentation was made in the presence of the members of the Lodge (prior to their Xmas Social) and the grandaughters of the Mr Beddoes who are also keen members of the local martial arts group. Well done to all in the Lodge for their constant fund raising efforts - a credit to the community.

For the 2024 PGP's Appeal there were a number of helpers with a bucket collection at ASDA, Donnington Wood, Telford, on April 13th 2024 . The collection was highly successful and raised £620 towards The PGP's Appeal for The Alzheimer's Society

On July 1st 2023 The Investiture of Brother Trevor Mason as Grand Chamberlain of The Grand Lodge of England took place at AFC Telford. A proud moment as the latest member of the Province to be elected to high office in the Grand Lodge of England

Friday the 12th of May 2023, a bit of history was made in the Wrekin (Shropshire) Province.
Brother Dad, Inducted Brother Son, in the Sir Leonard I Aulton Lodge No 2897 at the Royal British Legion Club in Dawley, Telford.
The Immediate Past Provincial Grand Primo of the Wrekin (Shropshire) Province, Brother Damian Ward ROH, raised his son, Brother Daniel Ward to the second degree.
The ably conducted ceremony was witnessed by Grand Primos of their respective years, Grand Lodge Officers and Brothers from near and far. Excellent decorum was given for this important milestone in a young Brothers progression within our Order.
The Provincial Grand Primo, Brother Tom Jones ROH gave way for Brother Damian to carry out the Induction of his own son. The honour of raising your own flesh and blood in our Order isn’t so common these days. This is one to remember for all the right reasons.
The well attended ceremony was enjoyable, as many old friends were reacquainted and a few new ones also made. All this strengthens the bond between us all.
All hail the newest Certified Primo in the Wrekin (Shropshire) Province, Primo Daniel Ward. Congratulations on obtaining the key to your progress for your journey through the ranks of the Order.
After the ceremony there was a raffle, Lady Luck smiled on me tonight, had the first win of the night whilst enjoying very tasty graze, which was prepared by Brother Ric Green KOM and his good lady Sarah.
